Is This Really The End?
Have you ever had that moment where you are seriously questioning where you are in your life?
Like, seriously...every day you find yourself doing the same stuff. At one point you thought you were happy, but then you start questioning that too!
What is happiness?
What does it mean to be happy?
Who controls my happiness?
This is a situation that I know about all too well. I seriously began to question every aspect of my life, asking myself is this really the end? Is this what my life is supposed to be?
I was angry...angry because the people in my life that I thought were supposed to be in control of my happiness have FAILED me.
I am not smiling.
I am angry.
I am confused.
“I gave OTHERS the power and control over my feelings!”
I am asking what I do to be in a situation where I feel I no longer have control?
Why is nothing changing?
Well...
Let me tell you where I messed up at...
Yup, it hits harder when you start to do some deep self- reflection.
I gave OTHERS the power and control over my feelings! Seriously, the power to control when I felt happy, sad, mad, defeated, overwhelmed, deflated. The power to make me feel worthless, stuck, unappreciated. Like I gave them the power to define my worth! The power to disrupt my PEACE. My own PEACE. WOW, that’s deep!
All of these things belong to me and I put it all in the hands of someone.
Listen, YOU are in control over your peace and happiness!
You have the ability to change, gain control, and be the woman you want to be. The woman that was always inside of you.
Do not be afraid to let her shine.
I Will Tell You…
This is not the end for you! Your journey is just now beginning. You will find your way and you will find your voice.
Oh, and do not be ashamed, embarrassed, or haunted by your past. Your past has shaped you into the woman you are today!
