I bought this book because l wanted intro to self-improvement. The value of this book lies in its ability to point you in the right direction for strengthening self confidence, motivation and self awareness. I read self-help books all the time. However, I find this book very inspirational and beneficial to maintaining a positive state of mind. In many ways, the information presented is a fantastic starting point on one’s journey of self- actualization. This provides me with a wonderful opportunity to expose myself to issues I’ve long ago forgotten. Lastly, l appreciate the ‘Beautiful and Loving’ strong Chiquita Mack for helping me (and so many others) to push forward while recognizing how incredibly courageous l am as a women, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.

Just what I needed! The Beauty in You definitely guided me on my journey to Self-Love and Self-Discovery. For so many years I doubted myself and this workbook really broke it down for me each chapter. I am ready to take on the world.

I love the book The Beauty In You by Chiquita Mack. It is a part of my everyday life. I like the writing prompts on each page because it gives me a vocal point on where to start my thought process. The positive affirmations are the best and help me throughout the day.

This is not your average work book. The Beauty in YOU will truly help you to discover you, accept you and grow, Without telling you who or what you should be. It’s a true journey of self discovery and self-love. From identifying my triggers to discovering what I specifically need to feel fulfilled . The added bonus was the self affirmation cards.

Chiquita Mack is absolutely brilliant for this!! The Beauty in You is a self-guided workbook that forces you to take an in depth look at your goals, fears, motivations, frustrations- everything that may be holding you back from being the best you possible. I've been working through this book for a couple of months and it has made me become more intentional about my personal and professional goals, as well as face some of the things that I've been trying to overcome without making the effort to deal with them. There are some parts that made me uncomfortable (in a good way) because it forced me to be very honest and take a good look at myself. I feel that I have grown so much and am learning to accept all aspects of myself while continuing to work on the me that would benefit from being refined. If you are serious about self-improvement and learning to love yourself holistically and work through your ugly truths and things that continue to hinder you from growing, I highly recommend this book.

I absolutely love this! In taking the time to sit and think about the answers to many questions we women forget to ask ourselves on a daily basis, it forces us to come to many realizations. There was a point in time in my life where I could not answer the question “What do you like to do in your spare time?” without saying anything about being a mommy, wife, or housekeeper. I felt like that was all I’d become at the time. I lost myself. Self discovery is not always easy, but it is always necessary. With the help of
Chi Quita Mack, we can put our thoughts, feelings, and goals on paper, which forces us to see anything we may have forgotten about ourselves. That is where the healing begins. It makes me think of an interactive vision board and I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing and inspiring woman.

Chapter 8, Goal Setting, was my favorite with the SMART practices. I actually found myself thinking of how to implement my goal setting strategies in the future. The chapter on triggers! OMG! This really helped me in coping with my negative thoughts! There is so much value in “The Beauty in You!” Thank You Chi Quita!
